NICOLE!
Yes I knew, but then Casey downloaded all the episodes off the internet for me, so I'm having my own marathon.
I had to drive through Lancaster and Palmdale a couple weeks ago because 5 was closed...it was interesting. Being a backwoods country-bumpkin, I couldn't understand why people would live there. But I still like you. After all, I bet they don't need wells in Lancaster and Palmdale, and so they win.
How are you? Still in Sacramento, still hot (as in the weather and yourself)?
Gah I miss my roommate. I felt bad for missing you last year and never doing anything about it, because I was anti-social or something. What are you majoring in now?

Well, I'm not actually from Lancaster or Palmdale, but my town is essentially the same. You drove right through where Anna's from too, which is Santa Clarita. How are you liking Costa Mesa? Where in CM are you at? My did lives off of Harbor and Gisler. Sacrament is still pretty hot. School starts next week too, which I'm kinda looking forward too, and kinda not. I'm not working in the union anymore, which is nice, because they're staying open till midnight I guess now. Well that and the job was pretty lame, so...
I miss you too! I was just telling hightower the other day how bummed I was that we never hung out at all last year. I'm sorry too, I'm also pretty anti-social. How did Casey download those off the internet? I can't wait for the new season...it's my only reason to get out of bed...so it's gotta be a pretty good reason. Majoring in Govt Jour, graduating in May...yeah I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
What are you doing with yourself these days?

NO WAY! I live at Baker and Harbor, which is like A FREAKIN' BLOCK FROM YOUR DAD!
I know you're from Apply Valley, but you said that's it's pretty much the same so I can say that I've pretty much been to your town. I've been through Santa Clarita before, though. Driving down to it out of Palmcaster (that is the name of the area from now on) there were these rocks that looked like they were from a scene in a Bill and Ted movie, and possibly other movies too. That brightened that terrible day, kinda.
Anyway, I'm enrolled for orchestra at Orange Coast College, which is a 10 minute walk away. Applying to community college was one of the easiest things I've ever done, literally. Sleeping is harder than it. Last week I was like, hmm school starts soon, maybe I'll apply. And so I did and they were automatically like HEY YOU'RE IN and so I went to bed and turned in a form the next day. Other than that, I'm working at this place like 2 blocks away (but only 1 block from your dad) called the mind institute. They develop this math software for elementary school and stuff, but all I do is secretary-it-up for three hours every morning. However, Casey's company is missing (like literally poof she's gone) its receptionist, so I may very well be working in Casey's office 9 hours a day, which I would do for free anyway if I got to be near Casey more (awwwwwwwww). Speaking of him, he has some kind of illegal downloading program for all media, but I don't know what it is. I can find out for you, or I could see if I could just burn the first two seasons onto disks for you so you could watch them on the computer.
Anyway, I am obviously being absorbed into the corporate world and away from college, but...yeah. So be it. It's not like I quit music, I just quit working toward my music degree for the time being.
So when are you coming to visit your dad???

Well I already own season one, and have pre-ordered season 2...as I am a nerd...but thanks for the offer anyway. OCC eh(that's what the cool kids call it)? They ahve a fun little swapmeet every weekend. Actually, they, and the fairgrounds across the street, USED to have a cool swapmeet. Now stores come out to sell they're crap and everything is taxed. LAME. Awww..how are things going with the Case-man?
And you know, screw the college degreee. You're getting some income through secretarying, and you still have free time to pursue the things you love, like your music and your art...you didn't give up your art, did you?! I still have the picture you gave to me hanging up in mah house.
I don't know when I'm visiting the ol' padre. Maybe in a couple months. I don't really plan these things, but I'll figure something out. Do you like having South Coast Plaza just down the street with all the ritzy stores? That's almost as cool as the mental institution/ golf course just around your corner!:O)

I actually went to the swap meet last Sunday with Casey and our friend Mike who lives across the street. We bought this laser tag set of four guns with goggles for $10 and got home to find that they all worked, were new models, and were worth $50 each. So, obviously the Mexican from whom we bought them stole them from some poor little rich kids in the area, but it doesn't matter because now we can play laser tag. Other than that the swap meet wasn't that exciting, but at least we got some exercise.
As usual and expected, Casey and I are still ridiculously happy. He got an excellent job, so he's very pleased. As far as art goes, I'm sorry to say it's been resting over the summer. But never you fear, it never stays latent for long, because my parents gave me art genes. Or something. It's funny you mention that, because for some reason I was thinking about that Van Gogh/Homestar picture just the other day.
I have not been to South Coast Plaza yet! I'm waiting to have money to spend before I go tempting myself. And as far as the local golf/institution goes, I hope to never go.
Are you still living at the same place I never visited?

Yeah, still living in the house you've never seen with the roommate you've never met...don't feel bad, I've hardly met her. She's never really around. She's been gone all summer, and was only at the house 3 days out of the week. She's got some loser boyfriend in Pleasanton...she's told me about him, I've met him...he's a shmo. Anyway...
Sweet deal on the laser tag. MAN, you always find the coolest stuff. I will thank the stars tonight for theiving Mexicans on your behalf. So when was the last time you wandered up this way?
I'm glad you and Casey are still so insanely happy. Have you made any friends down there? Are there any normal people to be met down there? It's kinda like San Diego...the women are all manufactured somewhere, because they all look the same...the guys are like that too.
